Gave this many chances but it failed every time

As you can see, reviews are 5 stars pretty much across the board, except for the few 1 stars. I’m not sure why from my experience. I mean, this app deserves 5 stars when it works, but it constantly crashes and when it does it slows down your whole computer. So, it’s not funcational and deserves 2 stars, maybe 1, in my book. I’m starting to think that reviews on the app store are perhaps going the way of some Amazon reviews: they’re placed, purchased, or promoted to be there in some way. If it’s not just me and you find the same trouble, post a review. I’m writing this because I wish I would have read something like this and simply tried something else and also to get the developers to look into this. There’s no reason why this should have any 1 or 2 star reviews.

I tried it a few years ago and it worked well for a few weeks, then crashed. I abondoned it and upgraded my MacBook Pro to Yosemite a month ago. I thought it might make it work and the answer was a clear: NO. It crashed right away and again slowed down my whole computer. I tried it probably 30 times over the years and it failed 15 or so. I really tried to like it because it COULD be so much better than Garageband to just get a quick recording out.

Maybe it’s just a select few that have this trouble but the trouble makes it unusuable and I bought it because of the great reviews and now I question them. To the developers, you have something potentially great and convenient but crashes way too often. It makes no sense to have something meant to be convenient that actually adds incovenience. Pretend you downloaded it, tried it, and it didn’t work and buy something else.
