Typing notes during recording picks up on recorder, makes playback difficult to listen to

I purchased this app to record lectures for school. I also take typed notes on my mac during the lecture. Each key stroke is picked up by the microphone making it impossible to re-listen to the recording. Upon playback, the keystrokes are louder thanthe lecture and drown out the content needed to hear. It would also be nice if there was a compatible iphone app, then I could record from the iphone and still type lectures. Having the lectures sync to the mac after allows convenience of listening both places.
