stopped working - won’t open at all

I used the free version and liked it so much I upgraded to the paid. I managed to do two voice clips and then the app disappeared. I try to open it, it acts as if it might open, but then nothing. Doesn’t show that it has opened anywhere.
Very upset and now will likely need to buy a different one as I am short on time.
