I don’t understand this app

It should be straightforward, right? It’s a voice recorder. I so wanted this to work.

The app opens for all of about 2 seconds and the instant you click outside of it, it disappears and does not re-open. You have to restart your computer to open it again. And you can’t actually move the app around once you have it open. Since I can’t use this, I tried to delete it, which you can’t even do can’t even delete it. I’m contacting Apple to get rid of it and to get a refund. I’d like to be able to read and record at the same time and this app is way too brittle to support that.
