In the beginning I loved it and it was working fabulously! Now, it records for 5 minutes and stops recording. I have to restart recording every 5 minutes or so. It used to record as long as I wanted it to record. I have deleted all of my previous recordings and cleaned out the files. it is still not recording the way it used to. I am not happy with the way it is currently working. I gave the product 3 stars because of past performance to present performance. I hope there is an update with a fix.

I had to buy a different app. This one doesn’t allow you to upload files and mix them also keeps crashing

Ive been using it to record my lectures and its been going fine. I can make special notes on the recordings, and when I go back to listen to my lectures those clues that I gave myself is still there. Now that I have purchase the app I should have more features.

very useful when I need to record audio at the same time going over notes, lectures and presentations.

Installed the app and used it briefly. Will be using it a lot more in the days to come But so far, so good!

Lately some recordings have been having a sort of defect. Its not that they erase, but the title changes on its own, and the time shows 0s. However, I can still listen to the recording but I cant fast forward it, rewind, or tell what recording it is unless I remember what date I recorded it on.

Would give 5 stars, but… Please make a flu screen view. I have thousands of voice memos over the years and Im trying to organize a library in your app, but its hard with such a smal UI. Please make a full screen mode. Also, when I change the name of a recording in the app, the corresponding file in the folder is duplicated and the newly created file is renamed, this give me a ton of duplicate files that just take up room. Thanks

I have used many pro recording software like pro tool and garageband. This light-level one just meets the demands of daily recording.

I have not explored all the possible options for this app, but it does record very good and is simple to use. The best feature I like in the paid version is to be able to pause and continue from where you left off. The output recordings are excellent. Nice addition.

The app is ok, built-in cool features, but, when I want to delete a recording, the apps dont respond for several minutes. Please fix.

I needed an app for recording lectures. I would click "Record" and it seems to work fine, it says I was recording until i clicked "Stop Recording" but when I would go to listen to the lecture later, only half of it would be there. It is very frustrating and I would have to keep redoing assignments over and over again hoping it would record the whole thing. Id even let it run an extra few minutes in hopes that it would save the first parts that had the assignment. Even then it would record less and less everytime and not record what I needed it too. Please, dont get this app. I want my 10 dollars back.

A great tool to help me prepare for Medical Board Exams. The ability to add on to existing recordings lets me pause, read some text, think of a question, and then ask it without delaying the recording. Two features Id like to see added are the ability to change the default title of the recordings and the ability to change the automatic pausing time delay which is currently set at 5 seconds. But the bottom line is this is a very polished program that is well worth the price.

I cant even see what I am naming or clicking on because the names literally overlap each other…. If you want to know what you are doing DONT BUY THIS… If you really dont give a crap WHY ARE YOU EVEN LOOKING… THIS APP IS TERRIBLE

good for meetings, notes

I just bought the $4.99 app. It installed and is sitting in my tool bar, but wont even open. Have no idea if it works well seeing as I cant open the darn thing!!!

app does not open after openend once and you select another application. horirble. waste of money

I was in a jam right before an interview I was conducting because the trial for the software I was going to use to record it ran out! When I did a quick search and found this app for such a reasonable price I grabbed it but I hadn’t used it before so I was holding my breath the whole interview that the recording would come out ok! Well, it sure did. It was flawless and the App is super easy to use! Love it. Thanks, Sally

I really like this app. It meets my needs for immediate access to a recorder right on my desktop toolbar. Highly recommended!

I purchased this app to record lectures for school. I also take typed notes on my mac during the lecture. Each key stroke is picked up by the microphone making it impossible to re-listen to the recording. Upon playback, the keystrokes are louder thanthe lecture and drown out the content needed to hear. It would also be nice if there was a compatible iphone app, then I could record from the iphone and still type lectures. Having the lectures sync to the mac after allows convenience of listening both places.
